What is lucid dreaming and how do you do it for stress relief?

I hear it good for stress reduction?

I can do it naturally, whenever I want.
You sound as if you are a stressed person. I’d think carefully before you start trying to lucid dream.

In your dreams you essentially become the ruler of the world. You can achieve anything you want, and perform any action you wish with no consequence. For some people, this may add more stress, as you realise that sometimes the best things only ever happen in your dreams.

I have to try and keep myself going wild when I lucid dream, otherwise I would only ever want to sleep, as its there that i have most fun. Of course, i do go wild sometimes…. hehe ;)

    Lucid dreaming is when you become aware that you are dreaming and can then change your dream to whatever you want. Only certain people are capable of this and with practice you become better at recognizing when you are dreaming. You can search for guides online on how to lucid dream. I’m not sure how exactly, if at all, it helps for stress relief but sleep is good at reducing stress and having nightmares can be stress inducing so if you can change your nightmares to something peaceful it certainly can’t hurt.

    It is when the dreamer is aware that they are asleep, so they can do whatever they want in a dream. I lucid dream every night. I never learned, I just started lucid dreaming. It’s kind of hard learning how to lucid dream (I’m teaching my friend how to do it, he says it’s kind of hard) The only advice I have, that I give my friend is to close your eyes, and think of things. If you do it correctly, without saying anything with your mouth, you should see the thing you thought about. It helps with stress relief because you can change something to be whatever you want it to be. (If you master lucid dreaming) I hope this helps.
